A structured, virtual-first curriculum built for saxophonists who want to take their playing to the next level. We focus on physical mechanics, structural analytical listening, and custom performance prep.
Lesson Categories
Studio Cohort
The standard enrollment for middle and high school students preparing for band contests, regions, or college auditions. We meet at the same reserved slot every week to build consistency and keep momentum high.

Consultative Lesson
Best for adult players or college students who need an expert eye on specific technique bottlenecks, ensemble music prep, or equipment adjustment (reed preparation, mouthpiece selection).

- Focused on single goal or repertoire piece
Areas of Focus
Tone & Intonation
Voicing registers, developing a stable larynx, embouchure pressure adjustments, and matching pitch centers using classical saxophone drone training.
Classical Technique
Scale systems (all scales, 3rds, arpeggios), altissimo fingerings, tone control over extended techniques, articulation speed, and key mechanism micro-movement.
Rehearsal Structure
Establishing a dynamic practice log, metronome integration tricks, isolating problem bars, recording critique loops, and optimizing your physical practice environment.
Studio Policies
24-Hour Cancellation Notice
Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are billed at the full rate. If rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance, the lesson slot rolls over to an agreed make-up slot without charge.
Materials & Reeds
Students are expected to purchase their own method books and music as requested. Working reeds are critical. Students must have at least 4 playable, rotated reeds in their case at all times.
